Anam Tariq, a poet from Aligarh, India, has completed her M.A. in English from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and is currently teaching English part-time at Adore India (a non-profit organisation). She has been writing poetry since she was 17. Her poems have appeared in three consecutive Women’s College Magazines (at AMU), a poetry anthology Going Off the Grid, INKochi Cultural eMagazine and on Live Wire. One of her poems is forthcoming in a poetry anthology India Without A Mask: Poetics & Politics Of The Pandemic. She has also won two 3rd prizes for her poetry in two Poetry Competitions.
