Enis Batur was born in EskiÅŸehir, Turkey. He studied first at Middle East Technical University, then in Paris. After completing his studies, he moved to Istanbul and established himself as a prominent editor, publisher, poet and essayist. He authored more than thirty volumes of poetry. His work has been translated into various languages.
