Maalavika Ajayakumar is a researcher in English Language and Literature conducting her doctoral research at the University of Kerala, India. Her interests range from writing satirical pieces to weaving poetry and short fiction. Her poetry, like her research, is grounded in the affective experiences of South Indian women and the gendered cultures that bind them.
