Pallavi Padma-Uday
Pallavi Padma-Uday is a writer, journalist and business historian. She writes longreads and op-eds for leading newspapers in India and the UK. Her first poetry collection is forthcoming in early 2023 and second poetry collection was chosen for a mentoring programme by Ireland's prestigious Doire Press. Her writing has appeared in several leading Irish and Indian journals such as the Honest Ulsterman, Abridged, Muse India, Usawa Literary Review, and Madras Courier, among others. Her poetry has featured in various anthologies including the New World, New Voices anthology by Ulster University, and 'Threshold', CAP's anthology for 2021-22, among others. She is the recipient of various grants, bursaries and mentoring programmes from Arts Council of Ireland, Irish Arts Centre, the John Hewitt Society, and Centre for Creative Practices in Ireland for her literary work. An alumnus of London School of Economics, Pallavi is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
