Renata Jambrešić Kirin

Renata Jambrešić Kirin is Research Advisor at the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research in Zagreb, Croatia, in the field of oral literature and women’s history. She is the co-director of the postgraduate course Feminisms in a transnational perspective (IUC, Dubrovnik, 2007– ). She published the book Dom isvijet: o ženskojkulturipamćenja [Home and the World: on women’s cultural memory] (2008) and co-edited seven monographs. Her most recent book Koriceodkamfora [The Camphorwood Binder] (Zagreb, 2015) is a collection of microessays and microfictions, which was awarded with Višnja Machiedo Prize for the best essay collection in Croatia in 2015.
