Saira Wasim is a Massachusetts-based artist originally from Lahore, Pakistan. Using traditional materials and methods, she puts a modern spin on Islamic miniature painting. She has exhibited her works intensively, nationally and internationally in solo exhibitions, biennale, museums and group shows. Her works are in museum collections of several, including the collections of Smith collage Museum Massachusetts, Victorian and Albert Museum, London and Queensland art gallery and Museum, Australia.
