Born in Mangalore, raised in Mumbai, Sudarshan Shetty is one of India’s prime experimental artists who is globally recognised for his installations and multi-media works. He made his debut with the solo show ‘paper moon’ in 1995, which instantly established him as an artworld favourite. Trained at Sir JJ School of Art in Mumbai, Shetty was also the curator of South Asia’s leading art platform, Kochi Biennale, in 2016.
