Anne Kniggendorf is a Kansas City-based freelance writer and is a regular contributor to the Kansas City Star. Her work has also been published by the Smithsonian, The Saturday Evening Post, Electric Literature, The Los Angeles Review of Books, the Chicago Review of Books, the Glasgow Review of Books, and Drink Me Magazine.

Anne is a graduate of St. John’s College, Santa Fe, and has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Media Arts from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  She is also a graduate of the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in Monterey, CA, and a Navy veteran.
