Dhruv Sharma, who hails from Kurukshetra (Haryana) is a student of MA German Literature at Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. He has done his bachelor’s and first master’s degree in Journalism from Kurukshetra University and the University of Vienna, Austria respectively. Here he learned German language and reached the level C1 of proficiency and also met German Literature and Philosophy, which he then decided to pursue for life. Currently, he is active as an intern at the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), New Delhi and also as Young Ambassador 2022 for the DAAD. This role includes among others, promoting and clarifying queries to the students who want to study in Germany. Poems for him are an intense method of expressing mind and emotions, which are rarely expressed in plain words. During his recent semester exchange in Germany at the University of Konstanz, he researched intensively on the Details in Art. Visual art is also an area which he studies with passion. Vincent van Gogh is the painter who has inspired him to pursue the passion to make this life worth living. He has been active in German Studies for the past seven years. The ultimate aim is to contribute to German Studies or German services in India.
