Gajanan Madhav Muktibodh (13 November, 1917-11 September, 1964) was one of the most prominent Hindi poets, essayists, literary and political critics, and fiction writers of the 20th century. He introduced novel elements of Experimentalism and Progressivism in Hindi poetry, thus contributing to Nayi Kavita movement.
