Jinendra Jain

Jinendra Jain is a banker-cum-writer. His fiction, creative non-fiction and poetry have appeared in Meniscus, Rattle, TEXT, The Best Asian Poetry 2021-22, Yearbook of Indian Poetry in English 2021, and The Best Asian Short Stories 2022. He has read at the Poetry Festival Singapore and the Australasian Association of Writing Programs Annual Conference. A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He has worked in various trading, risk management, and advisory roles for over twenty-five years with ANZ Grindlays, Bank of America, BNP Paribas, Westpac, and ING. He is studying for an MA in Creative Writing at Lasalle College of the Arts Singapore, a degree conferred by Goldsmiths, University of London, and working on his first book, a personal-memoir-cum-spiritual-travelogue set against the stunning backdrop of the Mustang Trail Race in Nepal.
