Paavni Mehrotra

Paavni Mehrotra is a fifteen-year-old studying in Pathways School Gurgaon. Spending her childhood in London, England, she is a creative soul with a scientific bent of mind. Considered a meticulous student, she holds keen interest in sports, music, literature, debate, art, organizing events, watching movies and numerous other holistic activities. To balance with her personal life, she loves to spend time with her younger sister and grandparents. Community service and acts of kindness hold special value for her. Although wishing to pursue a career in the field of STEM, she wholeheartedly enjoys expressing herself through poetry. Her first book, titled “The D.Y.E.S of Love”, was an anthology of short stories and poems published in 2022. Paavni has been part of the editorial team of the Student Council several times and frequently participates in writing competitions. Her most recent achievement in language has been the High Distinction Award for sharing her perspective on ‘Empathy’ at the Elaine Hobson Essay Competition, conducted by Virtual School Australia in 2021. Her favourite authors include Arthur Conan Doyle, Jane Austen, Agatha Christie, Satyajit Ray, Philip Pullman, Isaac Asimov, Rick Riordan, John Green, and Neil Gaiman, among many others. 
She hopes to continue kindling her imagination and dreaming from her heart!
