Pramita Ray is a consultant with the World Bank Group and specializes in gender. She holds degrees in English Literature and Development Studies from India and the UK respectively. While she has dabbled in poetry since her teenage years, she has taken to writing more intentionally in recent years — due, in part, to the COVID-19 lockdowns. She lives in Bangalore, India.
