Vikram Zutshi is a journalist, cultural critic and filmmaker based in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. He writes on art, history, travel, cinema, pop culture, sexuality and religion and runs a podcast called The Big Turtle that explores similar topics. His debut film, shot in Mexico and California, Max Kennedy and the American Dream was broadcast worldwide. His most recent film, Darshan on the traditional arts of India and Nepal premiered at the New York Film Festival. He is currently writing a novel and a work of nonfiction.
