Paromita Sengupta is a corporate employee heading the digital division of a publishing services company. She holds an M.Phil degree in English literature from EFLU, Hyderabad, and is currently learning French at an intermediate level. She has translated children's picture books for indie publishers such as Tulika (Amader Nijeder Bari by Meghaa Agarwal) and Pratham Books (Hyachoo! by Deepa Balsavar, Amar Khater Neeche by Anupa Lal, Didar Choshma by Rohini Nilekani). She has also written, translated, and adapted pieces for English textbooks for ICSE schools. She’s an avid reader and a curious traveller. Currently, she’s working on her first children’s book with Scholastic India.
