Divya Singh, founder of Zynaty Living, on how its first flagship experiential centre at Chattarpur in Delhi brings bespoke interiors, elegant kitchens, wardrobes, carpets, art and décor together in a warm, beautifully designed space made for contemporary Indian homes
Zynaty Living, the luxury interior and lifestyle brand founded by Divya Singh, has opened its first flagship experience store in Chattarpur, New Delhi. Spread across a curated interior setting rather than a conventional showroom format, the store has been designed to present the brand’s work across bespoke interiors, luxury kitchens, wardrobes, bar units, architectural millwork, wall panelling, custom furniture, lighting, carpets and décor.
Located at the Main 100ft Road, Chattarpur, the flagship marks a new phase for the brand, which works across India and Dubai on customised residential and boutique luxury projects. The store is intended for homeowners, architects, interior designers and design enthusiasts looking for personalised solutions for contemporary homes.
For Singh, the idea behind the space comes from a simple design belief: “Every space holds a possibility.” She explains it as a way of looking at interiors beyond furniture and finishes. “To me, every space carries an emotion, an energy, and the possibility to transform the way someone experiences living,” she says. “A home is never just about furniture or finishes — it’s about how a space makes you feel when you walk into it.”
The Chattarpur store has been planned to reflect this thought in a more experiential way. Instead of presenting products in isolation, Zynaty Living has arranged the space like a lived-in home, where visitors can see how materials, lighting, furniture, art and details work together. “At Zynaty Living, we wanted the Chattarpur flagship to reflect that philosophy in a very immersive and experiential way,” Singh says. “It’s designed like a curated luxury residence, where every corner tells a story through textures, materials, lighting, art, craftsmanship and detailing.”

The store brings together several parts of the brand’s practice. There are bespoke kitchens and wardrobes, a carpet gallery with interactive carpet art, statement bar units, wall treatments, styling objects sourced from different parts of the world, and collectible pieces. The focus is on showing clients how different elements can be integrated into a home without making the space feel overdone.
Singh says the response from early visitors has been encouraging. “For all the people who have walked through the doors thus far, the best compliment we’ve received is that the energy and vibe of our experience curation studio feel positive and happy,” she says.

The experience-led format is also meant to help clients understand the technical side of the brand’s work. According to Singh, one of the things visitors often notice is that the display is not just about styling. “One unexpected aspect for many people is discovering how much of the work is backed by in-house manufacturing and technical detailing,” she says. “Behind the aesthetics, there’s a very strong execution and engineering backbone.”
This manufacturing base is important to Zynaty Living’s positioning. The brand works on bespoke millworks, luxury kitchens, wardrobes, bars and turnkey interior solutions, where design decisions have to be supported by engineering, ergonomics, space planning and finish quality. For Singh, the objective is to bring together creativity and technical know-how in a way that makes homes both attractive and practical.

The experience-led format is also meant to help clients understand the technical side of the brand’s work.
Material use is one of the store’s key features. Zynaty Living works with textured veneers, brushed metals, stone surfaces, handcrafted finishes, layered fabrics, natural textures, elegant veneers, metallic accents and artisanal detailing. Singh is particularly interested in how natural materials can be combined with precision-led manufacturing. “We’re very excited about the integration of natural textures with precision engineering,” she says.
“Materials like textured veneers, brushed metals, stone surfaces, handcrafted finishes and layered fabrics create depth and character within a space.” One example is the feature bar displayed at the store. Singh says it brings together around six to eight materials. “It’s all about how the metal detailing interacts with the marble and veneer, and how they complement the leather, fabric and sandwich glass,” she says. “Together, they create an aesthetically infused materiality.”
The store also reflects Singh’s preference for restrained palettes and layered finishes rather than trend-heavy interiors. She says the design process usually begins with emotion and balance. “We generally work with layered, timeless palettes rather than trend-driven colours,” she says. “A lot of inspiration comes from architecture, travel over the last 20 years around the world in search of art, fashion and natural materials.”
For Zynaty Living, luxury is not presented as display alone. The brand’s approach is closer to calm, functional and long-lasting interiors. “We focus heavily on proportion, texture, warmth and restraint,” Singh says. “Even when a space is luxurious, we want it to feel calm, effortless and livable.” This is also how Singh reads the larger shift in the Indian luxury interiors market. “Contemporary Indian luxury today is moving towards understated sophistication rather than overt opulence,” she says. “People are valuing craftsmanship, authenticity and longevity much more deeply now.”
Singh’s own journey into design began outside the usual design-school route. She studied Business Administration and entered the industry in 2009 through the handmade carpet business. Between 2009 and 2012, she worked with and later headed operations for a New York-based carpet company in India. That period gave her exposure to handmade carpets, artisanal craft, sourcing, client servicing and the luxury design ecosystem.
In 2013, she started Atelier 54, initially focusing on luxury handmade carpets and curated sourcing. Over time, the brand expanded into art curation, interior styling and bespoke décor solutions for high-end residences. Her understanding of textures, layering, proportions and artistic storytelling developed through this phase and later became central to her design language.
The store also reflects Singh’s preference for restrained palettes and layered finishes rather than trend-heavy interiors.
A few years later, her work expanded into bespoke millworks, luxury kitchens, wardrobes and architectural detailing. After executing several boutique projects and gaining experience in production and execution, she set up a dedicated manufacturing unit in 2021. This marked the beginning of what would become Zynaty Interiors, and later Zynaty Living.
Today, Singh works with her teams across India and Dubai on customised residential and boutique luxury projects. The brand’s larger offering includes bespoke millworks, handmade carpets, art curation through collaborations with artists and artisans from India and abroad, home styling, sculptural décor, collectible objects and turnkey spatial solutions.
Singh says the long-term vision is to build an internationally recognised luxury living brand that combines craftsmanship, functionality and design storytelling in one place. The new flagship is a step in that direction, allowing clients to experience the brand’s capabilities across different interior categories.
With the Chattarpur launch, she wants homeowners and architects to see Indian luxury as something that can be globally refined while still being connected to craft and individuality. “I would love for people to see that Indian luxury today can be globally refined while still remaining deeply rooted in craftsmanship and individuality,” she says.
Going forward, Zynaty Living plans to strengthen its bespoke offerings across millwork, kitchens, wardrobes, styling, carpets and curated living. The brand is also looking at complete interior solutions for ultra-luxury projects, including residences, villas, clubhouses and boutique hotels. Singh is aware that the luxury interiors space is competitive, but believes that consistency and execution will be key.
“It’s definitely a competitive industry, but I believe authenticity, consistency, craftsmanship and the ability to evolve thoughtfully are what truly create long-term value and identity,” she says. She also credits the role of the team in building the brand: “Our people — the team that works in sync — can produce results far greater than any engineered product.”
The opening of the Chattarpur flagship gives Zynaty Living a more visible presence in Delhi’s design circuit. It also brings together the different parts of Singh’s journey (carpets, art, styling, millwork, manufacturing and interiors) into one physical space. For clients, the store offers a way to understand the brand’s approach before commissioning a project. For Zynaty Living, it is a platform to show how contemporary homes can balance material quality, craft, function and personal taste.
