Professor Shiv K. Kumar has published twelve collections of poems, five novels, two collections of short stories, a play, a translation of Faiz Ahmed Faiz, and many books of literary criticism. He has received such honours as Padma Bhushan, Sahitya Akademi Award and a Fellowship of the Royal Society of Literature (London).
